WWE Crown Jewel Predictions: Who Will Be the First-Ever Crown Jewel Champions?

Veteran NFL writer and Pat McAfee Show correspondent Mark Kaboly gives his WWE Crown Jewel predictions for Saturday’s PLE event (1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT) in Saudi Arabia.

Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. The Bloodline – Six-man Tag Team Match

Finally, Reigns and The Usos are on the same page… or are they? Reigns still has a burning desire to be the matriarch and leader of The Bloodline. Jey Uso’s priorities now lie in continuing his burgeoning solo career that earned him his first Singles title, while Jimmy tries to play the role of moderator. This spells disaster for Reigns and The Usos if they can’t find common ground, especially against the future, talented and ruthless Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline. Reigns will be the key to all of this working (or not working). Reigns has had one match since losing his undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania and we’re still not sure if his loyalty lies in reuniting the family or if he’s actually just looking for himself. Whatever happens, this will not be taken care of at Crown Jewel. But can the trio keep it together until Survivor Series: WarGames and beyond, or will Crown Jewel derail everything?

Prediction: The Bloodline with outside interference.

Cody Rhodes fires back after Gunther gives him a "secondary champion": Highlights from the 2024 Crown Jewel Kickoff

The undisputed WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion trade verbal haymakers before their showdown for the Crown Jewel Championship. Watch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, USA Network, CW Network, Sony India and more.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther

Awesome vs. Awesome. Whether you’re in favor of Cody Rhodes or Gunther or not, it shouldn’t take away from the fact that these are indeed two of the best superstars in the WWE right now and the two can make an insurance seminar interesting in the ring or on the mic. . Add to that the fact that they all hit a nerve with some of their recent promos, this match has some potential. In this battle of opposing styles, Gunther has the physical advantage, but you can’t count Rhodes’ heart and determination. This is the ultimate battle for bragging rights, with the winner taking home the monster Crown Jewel Championship. Since neither of these two have ever faced each other in a singles match before, this should be a good match from start to finish.

Prediction: Gunther via pin with outside help from Kevin Owens

WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax vs. World Women’s Champion Liv Morgan

The possibilities are endless with this match when it comes to some form of outside interference by various people and/or factions. Still, the match is just like the Men’s Crown Jewel match: a battle of opposing styles in Jax’s favor. Jax has been on a great run and Morgan has held the title himself for over five months. But it will certainly come down to something from outside forces. And is there anyone who does a better job of finding a way to get to the top than Morgan? Something tells me Tiffany Stratton will have the biggest influence in all of this.

Prediction: Morgan wins via pin. Stratton cashes in her Money in the Bank.

LA Knight BFT's Carmelo Hayes and Andrade disrupt Game 7: SmackDown Highlights, October 25, 2024

US champion LA Knight has had enough as special guest referee and eliminates Carmelo Hayes and Andrade before their seventh match can be decided. Watch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, USA Network, CW Network, Sony India and more. #SmackDown

United States Champion LA Knight vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes (Triple Threat Match)

Nothing beats a Game 7 – that’s what they say, right? But LA Knight ruined it for both WWE fans and Superstars Carmelo and Andrade by unnecessarily delving into what should have been the conclusion to perhaps the best series of matches we’ve ever seen. Knight should be confident enough to retain the title he’s held since SummerSlam (as if confidence has ever been an issue for Knight? SmackDown of the Week as a guest referee is the favorite but you can’t count any of his opponents to win and adding some spice to SmackDown, where the feud between the three may continue one way or another.

Prediction: Hayes wins by pinning Andrade

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair vs. Kairi Sane and IYO SKY vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match)

On paper, Belair and Cargill should win this match and retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, but you can’t sleep on Damage CTRL with Kairi Sane and IYO SKY. The duo has the experience of winning titles twice before with the title champions. Still, Cargill and Belair have to be the big favorites. Now there will come a time in the not so distant future when Cargill and Belair go their separate ways and lay claim to a Singles title, but there isn’t even a little hint that this could happen, let alone in a match as big as the Fatal 4-Way, so what could be the cause of that? Outside interference?

Prediction: IYO SKY pins Chelsea Green as Damage CTRL wins the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens

Now that escalated quickly. Not long ago, Owens and Orton were fat thieves and tag team partners and now they can’t wait to go after each other in the ring. Owens attacked Rhodes in the parking lot and Orton the following week, but I can’t get out of my head what Triple H said to Orton last week after the Chief Content Officer finally caved and made the match. Triple H told Orton, “Randy, from this moment on, I urge you to protect yourself at all times.” This one could get really ugly for the “Apex Predator” to the point that we might not hear from him again for a while.

Prediction: Owens wins via pin and then proceeds to unload on him, incapacitating him.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. ‘Big’ Bronson Reed

This whole rivalry is based on cruelty. It started with six Tsunamis, followed by Rollins slamming Reed’s head into the steel steps, costing him the Last Monster Standing match against Braun Strowman. It culminated in the parking lot fight at Raw. If this turns into another brawl, you have to be happy with Reed’s chances. If it’s more of a cerebral match, Rollins will emerge victorious. With the preparation, this match will undoubtedly be more brutal than anything we have seen so far. Rollins can survive defeat because he is an established superstar. Reed needs this more and will approach it that way.

Prediction: Rollins pins Reed, but only after surviving a thorough beatdown
