Colorado Football Schedule: Are the Buffs playing today?

After a win over the Cincinnati Bearcats on October 27, the Colorado Buffaloes will enjoy their second bye week of the season and return to the field on November 9 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Colorado’s Week 11 matchup in Lubbock marks its first matchup against the Red Raiders since 2010. Dating back to their first meeting in 1962, the two Big 12 Conference teams are tied 5-5 against each other.

Third-year head coach Joey McGuire’s Red Raiders are 5-3 (3-2 Big 12) entering their Week 10 matchup at Iowa State. Quarterback Behren Morton (2,063 passing yards) and running back Tahj Brooks (925 rushing yards) have both been exceptional, but Texas Tech’s defense has allowed a Big 12-worst 36.0 points per game.
