Mega Millions winning numbers, live results for Friday’s $281 million lottery drawing

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has risen to an estimated $281 million, with a cash option of $131.5 million.

The winning numbers were: 11, 22, 42, 46 and 51. The Mega Ball was 4, with a Megaplier of 2X.

No one in the entire country won Tuesday’s $250 million jackpot. A second prize ticket worth $1 million was sold in Florida. It matched five numbers, but not the Mega Ball.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 16, 22, 26, 36 And 56. The Mega Ball was 1with a Megaplier of 4X.

Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of getting a ticket that matches five numbers, but not the Mega Ball, and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $54 million, with a cash option of $25.5 million.
