Both offenses have dual-threat quarterbacks, and my predictions between South Florida and Florida Atlantic expect the offenses to be the main attraction. Read on as I explain why I like the Over in my college football picks for Friday, November 1.

Kickoff is at 7:30 PM ET from FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

My analysis
The South Florida Bulls offense has struggled without starting QB Byrum Brown under center, scoring just 38 points in his 2.5-game absence.

The good news for the Bulls? Brown is set to return to the court, which is bad news for a Florida Atlantic Owls defense that is allowing 28 points per night.

Brown has thrown for 836 passing yards with a pair of scoring strikes, but he also does work on the ground. The junior QB has gone looking for another 269 yards and three touchdowns for an offense that is probably better than 25 points per game.

The Bulls O-Unit should get us halfway, and the Owls offense will do the rest.

Florida Atlantic is starting to find its offensive identity: rushing the football, rushing it for more than 500 rushing yards in consecutive games.

The Owls are the fifth-best rushing offense in the AAC. Junior QB Cam Fancher is a capable dual-threat signal caller with 1,154 passing yards and 344 rushing yards, and FAU also features two RBs with 350+ rushing yards and four receivers with 100+ receiving yards.

They will face a South Florida defense unable to stop a broken clock and one that has given up more than 45 points in two of the last four games.

The offenses will dominate as they increase by a total of 49.5.

I expect both offenses to roar, but the Owls will get the final scratch.

South Florida RB CJ Campbell has found the end zone in four of his last five. He is the Bulls’ leading rusher and is a capable receiver with 17 catches for 175 yards. Florida Atlantic has surrendered a dozen rushing TDs, and I expect Campbell to find the end zone at least once.

Florida Atlantic is a short-home underdog, but the offense is starting to get its act together. The Bulls defense has some shortcomings and I expect the Owls to throw the ball more often and be successful enough to beat South Florida.
