After a four-day trial, the federal jury found Freddie “Bankroll Freddie” Gladney III guilty of one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute marijuana, one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and one count of for using a telephone in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

In addition to the 12-year prison sentence, U.S. District Judge James Moody Jr. sentenced Gladney to three years of supervised release without parole. Gladney is also expected to pay a $242,000 fine as part of his sentencing.

On April 14, 2022, an Arkansas State Police trooper conducted a traffic stop in Marion after the trooper observed a truck speeding.

The officer noticed “the odor of marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle” and asked Gladney to exit the vehicle.

As Gladney began to exit the vehicle, he began to go back inside and reach for something. The troopers then forcibly removed him after he refused to exit the vehicle.

Officers found two firearms, one of which is known as a ‘ghost gun’. Additionally, during the search, officers also found a duffel bag containing 21.4 pounds of high-grade marijuana and $33,662, along with seven magazines that were extended and fully loaded.
