Dry start to November; above-normal temperatures continue

play

After a rainy Halloween night, Greater Cincinnati residents can expect dry weather and above-normal temperatures through November.

High pressure will develop in the Ohio Valley region through the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. A very dry air mass will settle in the area as thin, high clouds pass over.

Friday’s highs will be in the mid-50s to low 60s. Temperatures will dip into the low 30s overnight, but then warm up on Saturday with highs in the low 60s.

A warm front will move across the area on Sunday, bringing a new round of above-normal temperatures early next week. The next chance of precipitation returns on Sunday and Monday. However, the best chance for widespread showers will occur on Tuesday when a cold front is forecast to move through the area.

During this period, temperatures will remain above normal. Highs from the mid 60s to mid 70s will rise to the mid 70s on Tuesday, reaching the upper 80s.
