Ella Purnell rocks pigtails for the Arcane season two premiere

Ella Purnell joined Hailee Steinfeld at The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on Thursday for the season two premiere of Netflix’s “Arcane.”

It’s at this point that I realize that I don’t really have a clear idea of ​​the Ella style personality or aesthetic yet, especially since this Dior resort 2025 red leather jacket and skirt was not something I would have suggested to her. In fact, I had Jenna Ortega in mind for this outfit as I imagined how it could work for her ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ press tour.

The suit itself is intriguing, but the styling doesn’t work for me. First, the braids feel somewhat at odds with the bold structure of the leather jacket, which despite the lace collar and cuffs, has an inherent edge that infuses the shoulders.

The J’Adior Slingback pumps were another choice that was more traditional than edgy, adding another layer of contrast.

This is undoubtedly an eye-catching outfit, but perhaps with a different styling approach it could have been more cohesive and brought out the inherent radiance of the look.

All in all, while Ella’s styling didn’t work for me, I like that she’s never afraid to experiment and ventures into new, bolder territory with every outing.
